Government and Industry Leaders Unite to Propel Economic Development in Shanghai, China.
A momentous milestone was achieved on August 8, 2023, as the foundation for our company, Shanghai Reijay’s production base and engineering test centre project, was laid.
Dignitaries including Mr Fang Wei, Mayor of Qingcun Town, Fengxian District; Mr Jiang Qiuping, Deputy Mayor; Mr Hu Qi, General Manager of SANY Shanghai; Mr He Hong, General Manager of East China Region of China Construction Science and Industry Corporation Ltd.; Mr Bob Leung and Ms Rise Liu, Chairman and General Manager of Shanghai Reijay Hydraulic & Transmission Technology Co., Ltd.; along with other representatives and all Shanghai Reijay’s employees, convened to mark the commencement of this significant endeavour.
Mr Bob Leung, the Chairman of Shanghai Reijay Hydraulic & Transmission Technology Co., Ltd., expressed gratitude to the esteemed leaders and guests attending the groundbreaking ceremony. In his address, Leung shared insights into Shanghai Reijay’s development trajectory and outlined the company’s unique strengths. He characterised the project as realising the “Reijay’s dream,” emphasising the fusion of intricate components and expansive manufacturing prowess. Once completed, the modern factory will generate substantial economic and societal value, contributing significantly to China’s aspiration to be a formidable manufacturing powerhouse.
Mr Hu Qi, General Manager of SANY Shanghai, has mentioned that Shanghai Reijay is an excellent example representing the evolution of the Chinese mechanical parts industry. As the partner for more than fifteen years, Mr Hu Qi recognised Reijay’s high standard of product and comprehensive service support. He presented his willingness to keep a good relationship with Shanghai Reijay and very much looking forward to seeing Reijay’s growth in the future.
Speaking on the government’s behalf, Mr Jiang Qiuping congratulated the project’s official launch. Highlighting the importance of Shanghai Reijay’s new production base and engineering test centre, he described it as a strategic cornerstone in driving the industrial transformation and elevation of Qinggang Economic Park. He noted that this project catalyses regional economic growth and symbolises a commitment to high-quality development. He called upon all stakeholders to pool their expertise and resources, ensuring the project’s efficient, high-standard construction and timely realisation of its productive outcomes.

Nestled within Fengxian Economic Park, this landmark project boasts a multifaceted role encompassing industrial transmission component production, process test research and development, and office space. The components manufactured will be applied in various sectors, including construction machinery, hydraulics, solar and wind power, precision machinery, petroleum equipment, and more. Upon project completion, its synergy with Fengxian Economic Park is poised to transform Qingcun town into an exemplar of “industrial strength, innovation, ecological harmony,” catalysing regional economic progress and pioneering the path of high-tech research and development.
