The Hydraulic Oil Tank refers to the container used to store the oil required to ensure the operation of the hydraulic system. According to whether the liquid level of the oil tank is connected with the atmosphere, the oil tank can be divided into open type and closed type.
The main function of the Hydraulic Oil Tank is to store the oil. In addition, it also plays a role in the heat dissipation of the oil, the precipitation of impurities and the escape of air in the oil. According to whether the liquid level of the oil tank is connected with the atmosphere, the oil tank can be divided into open type and closed type. The open oil tank is used in general hydraulic systems; the closed oil tank is used in underwater and hydraulic systems with strict working stability and noise requirements.
The volume of the Hydraulic Oil Tank must ensure that when the equipment stops running, all the oil in the system can return to the hydraulic oil tank under self-weight. Generally, the effective volume of the oil tank shall be greater than 3 times the pump flow per minute.
Generally, the effective volume of the Hydraulic Oil Tank in the low-pressure system is 2 ~ 4 times the flow per minute, and that in the medium and high-pressure systems is 5~7 times the flow per minute; In the case of the high-pressure closed circulation system, the effective volume of the oil tank shall be determined by the amount of external circulation oil or make-up oil required; For the hydraulic system with large working load and long-term continuous operation, the capacity of the oil tank shall be determined by calculation according to the heating capacity of the hydraulic system.
