The Rexroth coupling replacement Flexible Jaw Coupling consists of the same left-hand and right-hand tooth elements with a flexible "spider" between them, resulting in a toothed driver with certain bending ability. You can specify a durometer for spider elastomers to establish a harder or softer connection between shafts. Mating elements are sometimes pressed together to eliminate any rebound in the system. Spiders are a wear element that can be replaced without changing the chin. The chin half is usually made up of three teeth, but sometimes two and four teeth are seen.
